All of the 288 glasses for Saturday’s event sold out ahead of time, and all glasses that were purchased were distributed to visitors who made their way to the over two dozen participating merchants to sample summer drinks.

Main Street Promotions Committee Chairman Tom Whitehead said while fewer glasses were sold overall this year in order to reduce large crowds at the event, there were still more glasses sold this year than for last year’s event.  He said this was the most successful of any of the “Summer Sips” since the event began in 2017.

In addition to the variety of summer drinks on tap like Moscato Lemonade and Texas Tea, guests were also able to enjoy a variety of art displays at shops and listen to live music from the Anthony Moreno Band on the courthouse square.
