THIRD DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING COLLECTION WEDNESDAY IN BRENHAM; SIGNUP BEGINS TUESDAY

  

Drive-thru COVID-19 testing is returning to Washington County on Wednesday.

A third drive-thru COVID-19 test collection site will be set up Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Applicants can begin registering at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) morning for the testing by visiting www.txcovidtest.org, or calling 512-883-2400.

As before, those who complete the questionnaire today (Monday) will be signed up for a different county’s testing site.  Anyone looking to get tested in Washington County will need to wait until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning to apply.

Once their application is accepted, applicants will be notified of the time and location of their appointment.  Applicants must have identification and remain in their vehicle during the test collection.  Transportation to and from the testing site is the applicant’s responsibility.

Priority will be given to individuals with active symptoms, but those looking to get tested regardless of symptoms are still encouraged to call or go online and complete the questionnaire.

Not all applicants are guaranteed to be tested.
