A seating area offers guests several places to enjoy their drinks, with several TVs lining the walls.

A stop for various wines and mercantile goods celebrates its grand opening today (Thursday) in downtown Brenham.

Wine Bar Brenham hosts its grand opening at 4 p.m. at 301 South Baylor Street.  Owned by Aleesa Hardage, the wine bar offers wines and merchandise from around Texas.

Hardage’s idea for the wine bar came after she opened Timeless Designs Market around four years ago, saying she sought to add to what downtown has to offer.

Wine Bar Brenham opened briefly during downtown’s holiday events in December, and began a soft opening phase in January.

Hardage aims to provide a comfortable wine experience for everyone.

 

 

A mercantile section offers made-in-Texas goods and items.

Wine Bar Brenham is open from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, 2 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.  With the grand opening, the wine bar will also debut a light bites menu and music.
