FOUR JUVENILES ARRESTED FOR HIGH SCHOOL BREAK IN

Brenham Police say four juveniles are charged with vandalizing Brenham High School.

Police were called out last Sunday, August 17th, to youngsters inside the school building—but they were gone by the time police arrived.

The next day it was discovered that several classrooms and cafeteria had been vandalized.  Some items were missing and several small fires had been set.

While at the school, Cpl. Casey Thumann says she saw two young boys go enter the Kruse Field House.  The two were then seen at the bus ramp playing with a phone—and just moments later Thumann was contacted about a 9-1-1 hang up at the school.

The two were taken back into the school where they were identified by a maintenance man as having been in the school the day before.

The two admitted to being the in the school the night before and identified two others who had been with them.

The four, who range in age from 10-to-12 have all been sent to the Milam County Juvenile Detention Center.  They are currently charged with burglary of a building.

  1. This is a terrible thing for teenagers to do to our public schools. I hope the courts force their parents to pay for every single penny of the damage to our schools.
