BLINN BOARD SET TO REVIEW PROPOSED 2015 TAX RATE INCREASE

  

 The Blinn College Board of Trustees are set to review a proposal to adopt a 2015 tax rate that will exceed the Effective Tax rate when they meet in a special meeting on Tuesday at noon.

The first public hearing on the proposed tax rate increase will also be discussed, as well as the Board setting a date, time and place for the Second Hearing on the Proposed 2015 Tax Rate increase.

Also up for the discussion of the authorization to negotiate for professional services related to the Geotechnical Investigations and surveying services required for planning, platting and design of the Phase One building for the Bryan West Campus at FM 2818 and Leonard Road.

The Blinn Board of Trustees will meet on the Third Floor Administration Building on the Blinn-Brenham Campus.
