ARTS OF RURAL TEXAS HOSTING ARTWALK IN FAYETTEVILLE MAY 4-5

  

Arts for Rural Texas is hosting their annual Art Walk on Saturday and Sunday in Downtown Fayetteville.

Nearly 60 artists of all media, including paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber, and more, will be on hand looking to sell their original works.

Rita Kirkman is this year’s featured artist.

The ArtWalk also features live music throughout the weekend on the Fayetteville Square Bandstand.

On Saturday, they will have Amanda Adams from 10am-12noon, Mike Stroup and Annie Rost from 12:30-2:30pm, and SuperDave from 3-5pm. The evening closes out with a concert by Shaker Hymns at 6pm.

Everyone is invited to enjoy an evening meal from one of the food trucks on site, or one of the local restaurants on the square. Then, bring a lawn chair to listen to the live music.

Then on Sunday, performers will include Jacob and Alice Zazz from 10am-noon, and Kelsi Machacek from 1-3pm.

The Art Walk is free and open to the public.
