BRYAN MAN KILLED IN BURLESON COUNTY ACCIDENT
33 year old Jose Barrientos of Bryan was killed early Sunday morning after a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler in Burleson County.
DPS Trooper Jimmy Morgan told News 3 that the accident happened just before 6am on FM 50, outside of Tunis.
Barrientos was driving a 2002 Ford pick-up and traveling north when the he crossed into the path of an 18-wheeler.
The 44 year old driver of the 18-wheeler from Louisiana, was not hurt.
Barrientos was killed at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
