NEW ART GALLERY COMING TO DOWNTOWN NAVASOTA

  

A new art gallery will soon be opening in downtown Navasota.  Navasota artist and resident, Pattie Pederson, will be opening a 7,000 square foot gallery and studio space in the historic downtown district.  The grand opening is scheduled for Friday, August 4th.

Pederson, with the help of her husband, Mike, has transformed the 2nd story of their 130 year old building into an arts venue.  The multi-story structure is located at 101 East Washington Avenue.  Activities planned for the space include exhibitions of local artists, studio spaces for lease, painting parties and children’s art camps.  Plans are in the works to add pottery classes with the installation of an outdoor kiln.
