The Waller County Grand Jury indicted Officer Michael Kelly for official oppression for the arrest of Councilman Jonathan Miller.

Miller was tasered and arrested by officers in front of his home after they responded to a report of a disturbance.

Miller claims he was with a group that was practicing dance routines in front of his home when—in his words, “…the officers approached and began to aggressively question them about what they were doing.”

Kelly says Miller was interfering with police work and ordered Miller on the ground with his hands up.

A cell phone video shows that after Miller was on his knees, Officer Kelly fired a taser into Miller's back.

The incident was shared on social media.

  1. Wow, I’m not a good dancer, but, I bet if you put them there taser on my back. I’d show you some real cool dance moves.
