“VISITING MR. GREEN” BEGINS THURSDAY AT UNITY THEATRE

Unity Theater’s latest production, “Visiting Mr. Green”, opens this week for a two-week run.

“Visiting Mr. Green” is part of Unity Theater’s Studio Series, and will be performed on the smaller stage at the Brenham theater.    The show previews on Thursday night, and opens on Friday night.  “Visiting Mr. Green” is the story of two men, one, Green, is a devout Jewish widower  while the other, Ross Gardiner, is a hotshot corporate executive.  Their lives become intertwined when Green wanders into New York City traffic and is almost hit by a car driven by Gardiner.  Gardiner is given a community service of helping Green once a week for six months.  What starts as a comedy about two men who do not want to be in the same room together, becomes a gripping and moving drama as they get to know each other.

“Visiting Mr. Green”, which contains mature subject matter, runs Thursdays through Sundays at Unity Theater through March 25th.  Tickets are available through the Unity Theater Box Office at 300 Church Street in Brenham.  For more information visit www.unitybrenham.org.
