BLINN BOARD APPROVES THREE YEAR CONTRACT FOR NEW DISTRICT PRESIDENT

  

Blinn College's board of trustees approved Tuesday night a three year contract for Mary Hensley as the new district president.

Hensley will be the first female Blinn College president in Blinn College’s history,

Hensley will make $222,500 each year of a three-year contract, which will begin July 1. She is expected to sign the contract next week.

Hensley is currently serving as executive vice president of college operation at ACCD, and has been there for approximately 14 years.

Hensley comes into the job as one of four finalist after the resignation of Harold Nolte.

                                                    Dr. Ana Guzman has been serving as interim president.
