TWO ARRESTED ON POSSESSION AND FALSE REGISTRATION CHARGES
Two Houston residents have been arrested on Possession of Marijuana and false registration charges.
On Saturday around 5:46pm, Cpl. Seth Klehm conducted a traffic stop in the 4000 block of US Highway 290.
The vehicle had a temporary license plate over another plate.
Both driver and passenger appeared to be nervous.
When the passenger, Corina Carrizales Galvan of Houston, got out of the car, Klehm noticed marijuana residue, and was given permission to search the vehicle.
During the search, Klehm found marijuana in the passenger’s purse.
Both the driver, forty-seven-year year old Jose Antonio Alvarado, also of Houston and Galvan were arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.
