STAR OF THE REPUBLIC MUSEUM OPENS NEW EXIBIT IN CELEBRATION OF TEXAS’ 180TH BIRTHDAY
Blinn College’s Star of the Republic Museum will present a new exhibit highlighting the early leaders who shaped the Lone Star State as a celebration of the 180th anniversary of Texas.
“A Legacy of Leadership: The Signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence” opens tomorrow (Saturday) during the 180th Texas Independence Day celebration at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site, located off state Highway 105.
Star of the Republic Museum was created by the Texas Legislature and is administered by Blinn College as cultural and educational institution. Daily museum hours are from 10am to 5pm.
