FATAL ACCIDENT UNDER INVESTIGATION IN WASHINGTON CO.
Washington County authorities are investigating the discovery of a body amidst an apparent auto accident Wednesday morning.
Just before 9:00 a.m., a caller notified 9-1-1 of an overturned vehicle submerged in water off Rock Pit Lane, just off Old Gay Hill Road, west of Highway 36 North.
Upon investigation, authorities indicate the discovery of a body at the accident site.
The Department of Public Safety is in charge of the investigation and have not released any information regarding the accident.
Washington County Sheriff’s deputies, EMS and Brenham firefighters were also called to the scene.
Washington County Justice of the Peace Ken Toefel was also called to the scene.
