LOCAL BANK NAMED AMONG THE NATION’S ‘HEALTHIEST’

  

A Brenham bank has been names one of the ‘healthiest’ in the nation.

Bank of Brenham was recognized as one of the top 200 healthiest banks in America by Depositaccounts.com.

According to Bank of Brenham officials, the evaluation is based on the financial health of every federally insured bank in the United States—more than 6,100 total.

Bank of Brenham is owned by Industry Bancshares, based in Industry, Texas.

Bank of Brenham president Jim Kruse said they, “…are pleased to be included on this prestigious list.”

Kruse credits the bank’s customers, stockholders, and employees for the success. “Our high deposit rates and customer service have contributed to happier and more satisfied customers in the Brenham and Washington County area.”

Each bank is evaluated on a number of factors, including deposit growth, capitalization, and loan to reserve ratios, in order to determine a comprehensive health score.
