DPS TROOPER HELPS DELIVER BABY IN PARKING LOT

  

A Department of Public Safety Trooper helped deliver a baby in a Burleson County parking lot Saturday morning.

According to DPS, Burleson County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a woman in labor at the Twisters Gas Station at FM 60 and FM 50 around 10 a.m. DPS Trooper Joe Morris arrived before EMS could get to the scene.

Trooper Morris was able to help deliver a baby boy in the parking lot of the gas station. The mother and baby were taken to Scott and White Hospital in College Station.
