“TREATS ON THE STREETS” HAPPENING IN NAVASOTA

  

Navasota’s “Treats on the Streets” will provide Halloween fun for the whole family tonight (Monday).

Last year, approximately 2,500 people showed up to take part in the festivities. The Navasota Police Department hosts “Treats on the Streets” as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating. The event tonight will kick off at 6 p.m.

The route this year will be a “one way access” that will begin at Holland and LaSalle near Snowflake Donut. The route will end in the parking lot of the City Municipal Building where a costume contest will be held at 7:00 p.m.  Participants will be divided into the following age categories:

0 – 3 years of age
4-year-olds – Kindergarten
1st grade – 3rd grade
4th grade – 5th grade

KTEX’s Trail Boss Troy will be there in the Friendly Country Cruiser.
