KAREN LANE CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION AT HWY 36

  

Construction will close the intersection of Karen Lane at Highway 36 today (Monday) as construction crews work to complete the concrete pavement for the northbound lanes.

There will be a detour sign for traffic that reroutes travelers through the newly completed U-turn under State Highway 36, leading folks to Karen land and Zientek lane.

Travelers should keep this detour in mind when leaving to accommodate for extra travel time.

This work is part of the $14.3 million project to widen Highway 36 to a 4-lane, divided highway between 290 west and Business 36. The full project is aimed to be complete by spring of 2018.
