BRENHAM F.D. CALLED TO VEHICLE FIRE, SUNDAY
The Brenham Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire, late Sunday afternoon.
Just before 5:00 p.m., the department was dispatched to a car fire near Rosebowl Lanes on Highway 290 West.
Firefighters found a Chevy Tahoe with heavy smoke coming from engine.
The department extinguished the fire, which melted the majority of the components under the hood.
Once the fire was out, the highway was reopened.
