TEXAS 30 AT GIBBONS CREEK REOPENED IN GRIMES COUNTY
A stretch of Highway 30 in Grimes County that was closed in June has been reopened.
TxDOT officials closed the bridge crossing Gibbons Creek back on June 26, for emergency repairs.
Drivers were forced to take lengthy detours around the closure.
Repairs included welding at the bridge to address erosion issues. TxDOT says repairs cost $499,800.
