FAYETTE CO. S.O. ARRESTS NEW BRAUNFELS MAN AFTER CHASE

A New Braunfels man is in custody in Fayette County after his arrest after a burglary and car chase.
23-year old Kenneth Dale Yost was arrested after authorities were notified of a 9-1-1 burglary call, just north of Flatonia.
Sheriff’s deputies spotted Yost headed north on FM-609 toward LaGrange.
Yost refused to pull over, leading to a chase into LaGrange—that chase included: additional deputies, LaGrange police, DPS troopers and a Texas Game Warden.
Road spikes forced Yost’s vehicle into a nearby parking lot, where deputies blocked him in. He then reportedly fled into a nearby motel, where he was captured.
Yost is charged with Burglary of a Habitation, Evading Arrest in a Vehicle and Possession of Methamphetemines.
