BLINN WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS TO #2-NAVARRO
Zoe Madrid posts nine saves for the Buccaneers
BRENHAM, Texas — The Blinn College women’s soccer team fell to No. 2 Navarro College 5-0 Saturday night.
“We are continuing to improve, but just have to put the final piece together,” said Jorden Smith, Blinn (2-9, 2-6) head coach.
Blinn’s Zoe Madrid was strong on defense with nine saves. On offense, the Buccaneers took two shots.
Navarro held a 3-0 lead at the half after scoring in the seventh, 22nd, and 43rd minutes. The Bulldogs increased their lead to 5-0 after scoring in the 57th and 62nd minutes.
Blinn will host No. 1 Tyler Junior College on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at Rankin Field.
