LOCAL STORES PARTICIPATING IN SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY

  

Small Business Saturday is here, and many small businesses in downtown Brenham will be taking part.

Small Business Saturday invites shoppers to take a look at local and independent stores, following Black Friday and preceding Cyber Monday.

The campaign was launched in 2010, when many small businesses across the United States were suffering from an economic recession.  According to American Express, consumers in the United States have spent around $85 billion at local stores and restaurants, since the beginning of Small Business Saturday.

Several stores across Washington County will be offering holiday specials for Small Business Saturday.  A full list of stores that are offering deals can be found at the Washington County Chamber of Commerce website, at http://chamber.brenhamtexas.com/hotdeals.
