THREE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT THIS WEEK
Three people plead guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week:

Jason Hearne, 45, of Hearne was sentenced to 4 years’ probation and 70 days in the Washington County Jail for Forgery of a Financial Instrument. He must also pay a $500 fine, $2488 in restitution, and perform 200 hours of community service.

Jasmine Angelica Claxton, 29, of Houston was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Forgery of a Financial Instrument. She was also ordered to pay a $1500 fine, perform 150 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victim in the case.

Terrence Wayne Burns, Sr., 27, of Brenham plead guilty to two counts of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in July of last year and was sentenced this week after a hearing before the court. He was sentenced to (correction by the District Attorney's Office) 10 years probation, serve 10 years in prison, pay a $2500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service. He was also ordered to report to probation twice a month until Court notification.
