WASHINGTON CO. FAIR ASSOCIATION RECEIVES STATE RECOGNITION AND AWARDS
The Washington County Fair Association (WCFA) has received honors from the Texas Association of Fairs and Events (TAFE).
The WCFA recently received six marketing and communications awards at the 2019 TAFE Convention held in Galveston.
The TAFE Award of Excellence Competition recognizes fairs, festivals and events for superior promotions and media initiatives.
The WCFA received 2nd Place for Best Commemorative Poster, 3rd Place in Best Miscellaneous Multi-Page Materials, 2nd Place for Best New Program, 2nd Place Best Social Media Promotion, 3rd Place Best Photograph Series, and 3rd Place Best Social Media Campaign. All awards were in the under 50,000 attendance categories.
The WCFA is made up of all volunteers and supported by several sponsors. These awards are the result of many hours of work by volunteers to promote the Washington County Fair.
