The Brenham Police Department recently celebrated the promotion of a record number of officers.
Last week, police held a promotion ceremony at the Fireman’s Training Center to recognize eight officers that were promoted – two lieutenants, five sergeants, and one corporal. Loved ones joined each officer on stage to pin their new badge.
Police Chief Allwin Barrow said this is the first time in the history of the Brenham Police Department that there have been this many promotions at one time.
The police department’s new lieutenants are Kelvin Raven and Curtis Schoen. Raven has been with the department for over 22 years, and Schoen for 13 years.
