BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO REVIEW SEVERAL STAFF CONTRACTS

  

The Burton School Board will meet Monday evening to consider the contracts of several staff members.

Trustees will review the contracts of the athletic director, high school and elementary principals, special services cooperative director, and director of student services.

The board will also consider a board policy update recommended by the Texas Association of School Boards Policy Services.  Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy said these are provided for educational purposes, to provide a general understanding of law and regulatory matters.

The board will also consider approval of a joint election inter-local agreement with Blinn College.  In addition, it will review the Washington County Appraisal District’s audit, and hear monthly reports from the principal, athletic director, and superintendent.

The school board will meet Monday evening at 6:30 p.m., in the administration office on 701 North Railroad Street.
