LOCAL POLICE INVESTIGATE RASH OF BURGLARIES

  

Brenham Police are investigating a rash of motor vehicle burglaries in the north side of town.

Monday morning officers were dispatched to numerous calls of burglaries of vehicles north of Blue Bell road off North Park St.

The burglaries all occurred in the area of Pecan Circle Drive, Northview Circle Drive, Ewing Street and Higgins Street.

All the victims reported that their vehicles had all been rummaged through and several personal items were stolen.

One of the victims stated that their vehicle, a 1989 Buick Century was taken from their residence.

Brenham Police are asking if anyone has any information on these burglaries to please contact the Department.

They are also asking the public to please remember to take their personal belongings with them and lock their vehicles.

  1. It’s just awful to hear but with the kids running the streets on spring break it’s gonna happen especially if you have your items in plain view! If I was an engineer or secret service agent I’d invent a device when your doors open without the proper key when in locked mode or special device that criminal entering would get electricity shock that would make them think twice about stealing the car or items inside!
    Go get a job and work for your personal things just like these victims!
    This is just my opinion and nothing is worth taking someone else’s belongings!
