CAR FALLS ONTO FEEDER ROAD ON 290

  

The Brenham Fire Department had to free two people, trapped in a vehicle that dropped off the overpass near the Firemen’s Training Center.

Emergency responders were called out just before 2:00 Monday afternoon.  At the scene, they found a vehicle that had fallen off the bridge onto the feeder road, under the bridge.

The Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to free the driver and a passenger.  Both were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The department also cleaned up fluids that had spilled onto the roadway.
