COLLEGE STATION PD MAKES LARGEST DRUG BUST IN COUNTY HISTORY
College Station Police made the largest drug bust in Brazos County history over the weekend.
26-year old James Hood was arrested after authorities served a search warrant at his home on Southwest Parkway in College Station.
The warrant was the culmination of a year-and-a-half long Brazos County Law Enforcement Agency investigation.
Inside Hood's home, police found over 24,000 ecstasy pills, nearly four ounces of cocaine, a stolen gun and $23,000 in cash.
The street value of the ecstasy is just under a-quarter-million dollars.
Hood was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of an Illegal Firearm.
