BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO ON MULTIPLE CHARGES SATURDAY

Brenham Police arrested two people for multiple charges on Saturday.
Just before 10:40pm, Officer Darrell Nunn Jr. conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of South Market Street.
The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of 38-year-old Donta Waddell for Possession of Marijuana, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, (Greater than one gram, but less than four grams), and two outstanding arrest warrants out of Brazos County.
Corporal James Catchings was dispatched to the 1200 block of Key Street in reference to a disturbance. Information was taken for the incident, and it was discovered that an individual had 7 traffic warrants.
56-year-old Kelly Deleon of Brenham was taken into custody for City of Brenham Municipal Court Capias Warrants for three counts of Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, two counts of No Driver’s License, Displaying Expired Registration, and Driving While License Invalid. She was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
