EIGHT SENTENCED IN LOCAL DISTRICT COURT

  
Jeffrey Vacha (Washington County Jail)

A Brenham man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in the latest edition of 21st District Court.

57-year old Jeffrey Alan Vacha of Brenham, pleaded guilty Thursday in front of Judge Carson Campbell.

Vacha was charged in February with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance– a First Degree Felony.

In addition to the 15 years behind bars, Vacha was also fined $1500.

Also sentenced in District Court Thursday:

Amy Ragston (Washington Co. Jail)

33-year old Amy Renae Ragston of Brenham had her probation revoked and was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Ragston was arrested in January of 2015 on two counts of Intoxication Assault with Vehicle, Serious Bodily Injury.

53-year old Michael Gary Montgomery of Brenham, was sentenced to six years in behind bars of a 2017 arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance– a Second Degree Felony.

29-year old Jordan Scott Schaefer of Burton, sentenced to five years in prison.  Schaefer was charged in February of 2017 for Assault of a Family Member/Impede Breath or Circulation– a Third Degree Felony.

35-year old Adam Paul Seilheimer of Brenham was placed on eight years’ probation for two counts: Continuous Violence Against the Family and Injury to Child- both Third Degree Felonies.  Seilheimer was also fined $1500 on each charge and ordered to perform 250 hours Community Service.

40-year old Jerod Charles Wolff of Austin, pleaded guilty three charges: Burglary of a Habitation and two counts of Burglary of a Building.  He was placed on eight years’ probation and 200 hours of Community Service.

44-year old Crystal Dawn Ward of Pawhuska, Oklahoma was placed on five years’ probation for a July 2018 arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance– a Third Degree Felony.

She was also ordered to perform 200 hours Community Service.

And, 61-year old Thomas Dean Jesters of Kilgore, placed on five years’ probation and fined $1500 for Tampering with Physical Evidence – a Third Degree Felony.

He was also ordered to perform 100 hours Community Service.

  1. You can always count on this judge! Thanks judge Campbell for removing people for long term prison sentences when they manufacture illegal drugs..we are way safer without them around
