LOCAL LADIES LIONS RECEIVE AWARDS

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club was the recent recipient of a number of awards.

Past International Director Jo Al Picone recently presented the local organization with the District 2S5 2018-2019 Robert F Koennecke award from the Seguin Noon Lions Club.

The top club in the district is selected by district leaders based on areas of outstanding service, levels of service in the community, state and internationally, service projects and involvement.

Picone also presented the banner patch for the fourth year as a 4 diamond service challenge club.

The club met all 4 levels of the International challenges for the four years of the challenge.

This achievement level earns all 72 members of the WCLLC with a commemorative pin that will never be reproduced.

Picone also presented the club with the LCIF patch for meeting the International President Gudrin Yngradottir diabetes challenge donation.
