BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER HOSTS KIDFISH

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center welcomed anglers of all ages to the 13th Annual KIDFISH, Saturday.

The Aquatic Center’s leisure pool saw an influx of about 400 pounds of catfish for fishers of all ages to try to reel in.

In addition to the fishing activities, there were CPR and first aid demonstrations, face painting, arts and crafts, and swimming and classes at the indoor pools.

KTEX-106’s Holly Ryder was at the Aquatic Center in the KTEX Country Cruiser.

  1. What an exciting morning for the kids whose parents took the time to allow them to participate in KID FISH! To watch a child pull in a fish for the first time is so heartwarming and it usually becomes a lifetime hobby! The many volunteers did all they could to help the kids land a “big one”! Thank you to the sponsors, volunteers as well as the little fishermen. It was a morning like no other!
