THIRD PERSON DIES AFTER MONDAY NIGHT ACCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 21 IN BRAZOS CO.

  

A man taken to the hospital in critical condition after a double fatality accident in Brazos County has died from his injuries.

66-year-old Thomas Bacak of Richmond died at the hospital.  He was a passenger in a 2013 Lexus that pulled out in front of an 18-wheeler at State Highway 21 and OSR just after 6:30 p.m. Monday night.

The driver and passenger in the car died at the scene.  They were identified as 81-year-old James William Bacak and 80-year-old Irene Bacak, both of Burton.

Bryan police say the driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured, and continues to cooperate fully with the investigation.
