LOCAL MAN RECEIVES PROBATION FOR THEFT CHARGE
A Brenham man, arrested last week on multiple outstanding warrants, has been placed on five years’ probation.
49-year old Reagan Ross Jackson of Brenham was arrested last Wednesday on multiple warrants for: Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000; Driving While License Suspended with a Previous Conviction, and Over Tire Rating/Commercial.
Thursday, Jackson pleaded guilty to the 2017 charge of Theft of Property—which is a state jail felony—and was sentenced to five years’ probation, a $1000 fine, 200 hours of community service and drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment. Jackson was also ordered to pay $3975 in restitution.
Also in District Court:
36-year old James Curtis Powell received four years’ probation and was fined $500 for Possession of a Controlled Substance—a State Jail Felony.
Powell was also ordered to perform 120 hours of community service restitution.
24-year old Deandre Devane Allen of Houston was placed on three years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Allen was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours’ community service.
27-year old Marcos Mendoza of Houston was fined $3000 and placed on two years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance—a state jail felony.
And, 53-year old Timothy Bryant Wesolick of Brenham was sentenced to two years’ probation and fined $250 for Deadly Conduct—a Class A Misdemeanor. He must also perform 75 hours of community service.
