PASTOR JOHN HARRIS AND HELEN HARRIS CELEBRATING 20TH ANNIVERSARY AT MT. ROSE MBC
The public is invited this weekend to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a pastor and his wife serving at a Brenham church.
A celebration will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Blinn College Student Center Ballroom for Pastor John Harris and First Lady Helen Harris, who are marking 20 years of ministry at Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Harris is now the third longest serving pastor in Mt. Rose’s 152 year history, following Rev. James Dennis’ 50 years and Rev. Moses Johnson’s 22 years.
Rev. Sylvester Duckens of Heavenly Star Baptist Church in Houston will be the guest speaker, with dinner served afterwards.
