LOCAL ELKS LODGE AIDS SENIOR CENTER
The Brenham Elks Lodge recently made a donation to local seniors.
The local lodge recently presented a check in the amount of $2500.00 to the Washington County Healthy Living Association Senior Center to help provide needed food and personal care items.
Elks Exalted Ruler Clayton Wallace says the donation to the center should keep members out of the stores and in a safe home environment.
Barbara Hemmer, a member of the Board, praised the Lodge for their immediate reponse to the community need.

A wonderful gesture. Great to help the Senior Center. The recipients are so grateful. They are the Thankful ones that will always be grateful. Hope more help comes forward from the Community & monetary donations pour in where there will be a surplus of money. I’m sure the Senior Center has other needs if money is there.Those folks are deserving of this help. Thank you fellow Elks members.
