TEXAS A&M SYSTEM LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE IN CELEBRATION OF TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
The Texas A&M University System has launched a new website with resources to assist teachers and parents during the transition to online schooling.
A release from Texas A&M said the website, called We Teach Texas, includes the work of experts from the 11 universities across the Texas A&M System.
Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp said this site was created to share helpful resources and share the university system’s commitment to producing high-quality educators.
Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Shonda Gibson said the university system is committed to continually improving the effectiveness of its educator preparation programs using new research and data, producing “the best teachers to educate the children of Texas”. She said this resource highlights the system’s approach to educating and preparing Texas teachers.
Educators — or those who may be looking to become Texas teachers — can also find information on each of the A&M System’s colleges of education on the We Teach Texas website.
