  1. When will people understand the number of cases will rise as testing rises. The virus is already out there and the numbers dont mean anything except to those who die or in the hospital. Dont act like the virus is a wildfire because a number goes up . For every 1 positive there are probably 10 you will never know about . The virus just like the flu is here to stay . People still get the flu even after all this time of science fighting it . Same for this virus. The difference is the flu did not turn people into snitches and destroy our economy . What next the Covid Gestapo ? No mask , you go to a camp ?

    1. The other difference between the flu and COVID is the flu is not as deadly or contagious. I really wish everyone would just stop comparing this to the flu. IT. IS. NOT. THE. FLU.

    2. Masks are worn to protect those around us: we do it for others. Those people who choose not to wear a mask when they are out in public in close proximity to other people are, unfortunately, acting in a selfish manner.

    3. When 20 of 22 deaths are linked to the BNR ..nursing home the count shows the virus is there. Somewhere in a early Post someone stated it could be flowing thru A/C system. Yes it’s likely so why hasn’t Senator Kolkhorst put in place a order that a portable Hospital/facility be put in place on the property & move the residents there with a big sunroom where they can see sunlite. I just know those Residents would at least wake up every morning not wondering “will I be the next to die.” These sweet people do not need to live in fear. The isolation…. No meals w/others, no visitors, no beauty parlor days, no Bible studies or church services will bring death & depression.

      1. Senator Kolkhorst has gone above and beyond and earned the votes we have given her many times over, however the role of a senator is not to give orders! They are part of a deliberative body that passes legislation. Your expectation of the power of that office is misplaced.

        1. No I’m not aware of what can or cannot be done or put in place. My heart lies in the fact these folks at BNR are helpless. Let’s all pray no more deaths. My thoughts not misplaced….my thoughts as I said is my concern & care for the Residents.
