CUBS HAVE CHANGE MADE TO 2020 DISTRICT FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
The District 13/5A Executive Committee has voted to amend the current football schedule in an effort to give themselves the best chance to complete all games.
The district has moved to take the final football game of the season scheduled for Dec. 4th and moved that game to Nov. 6th—an open date.
For the Cubs, that will be a home game against Leander Rouse, which will be Senior Night. Homecoming will be the following week.
Coach Eliot Allen says it’s important to note that there will be two open weeks at the end of the season. If there any cancellations due to Covid-19 during the regular season, they will utilize those dates to make up games.
The playoffs will still begin on the weekend of Dec. 11th.
