FOUR PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT THIS WEEK

  

Four people pled guilty and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell in District Court this week.

Sergio M. Lester, Age 60, of Houston, was sentenced to 6 months in state jail for theft of less than $2500 with two previous convictions.  Lester was arrested by Brenham Police in July of 2019.  He reportedly failed to pay for items at a local business on Blue Bell Road.

Santos Basilio Tores Osorto, Age 32, of Hempstead, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for possession of a controlled substance. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Christopher Jordan Tran, Age 23, of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for possession of a controlled substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

Enedina Ortiz, Age 37, of Brenham, was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication probation for theft.  She was also ordered to pay $8825.65 restitution to be paid on date of judgment and perform 200 hours of community service.
