FORTNIGHTLY CLUB HOSTING ANNUAL HOLIDAY DECORATING CONTEST

  

The Fortnightly Club of Brenham invites the community to take part in its annual Christmas Home and Door Decorating Contest.

All homes within Brenham city limits are eligible to enter the contest and showcase their holiday decorative talents.  The contest is free to enter, and yard signs will be awarded to the first and second place finishers in each category.

Contestants can choose to enter into one of three categories: “Traditional – Fun,” “Traditional – Elegant,” or “Religious.”  They can be judged by yard and door, by yard only, or by door only.

The deadline to enter the contest is December 7^th.  All registered entries will be judged after 5:30 p.m. on December 15^th and 16^th.  Winners will be announced within one week of the final judging.

To enter a home into the competition, call committee member Kathryn Seifert at 979-277-5893, and provide the participant’s name, address, phone number, and decoration category.
