“COOPER” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Cooper” as its Pet of the Week.

Cooper is a Lab/Chow mix, about three to four years old. Brenham Animal Services staff say Cooper has a compact body and loves to run around and chase toys, but also enjoys lounging around and grabbing hugs.
Staff say Cooper, who has been neutered, has “movie star good looks” and a “gorgeous, thick coat.”
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center is currently taking appointments for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Gift wrapping in exchange for donations is available at the adoption center Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m., or by appointment, through Christmas. Staff will also wrap presents on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Puppy Dawgs and Cat Tails, where adoptable pets will also be available.
