BRENHAM CITY WORKERS MAKING HEADWAY WITH BROKEN WATER PIPES
Officials with the City of Brenham say they’re continuing to work around the clock to provide essential services to the community, including public safety and utilities.
City staff has identified, and either repaired or isolated, over 500 leaks, and says while they are making significant headway and can now keep water in the towers longer and push water further throughout the system, there continues to be a very high demand.
A boil water advisory remains in effect for all water customers. A notice will be sent out when it is no longer necessary to boil water.
As for street and road conditions, commuters are urged to travel with caution.
