Brenham High School crowned new Homecoming royalty Friday night.

Nicole Soto was crowned 2021 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the Cubs' game versus Pflugerville Connally.  Opre Auhna Graves was named first runner up, while second runner up was Kelsey Zientek.

Amir Johnson was crowned 2021 Homecoming King in a ceremony after the game.  Javon Dixon was named 2nd runner up and Kaden Watts was named 1st runner up.

The Cubs won the game over Pflugerville Connally 44 - 0.

  1. Congratulations to all the homecoming court.
    I am a retired Brenham ISD third grade teacher. Amir Johnson was a successful, well behaved, polite Alton elementary student. If I remember correctly he won our school spelling bee contest.
    I am happy to see he is still making good choices, working hard on the football field and in the classroom.

  2. Congratulations to Nicole and Amir, but that was the smallest Homecoming crowd I’ve seen in Brenham in 44 years. Com-On-Man! Our kids deserve better! The festivities and all the fans that were there were out\standing. Hope this is not a sign of things to come!
