SATURDAY LAST DAY TO VOTE IN DOWNTOWN SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA
This Saturday is the last day to cast your vote in Main Street Brenham’s 18th Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza. Scarecrows have been set up in front of various business in Downtown Brenham and ballots can be obtained inside sponsoring businesses.
A total of $1,525 in cash prizes will be awarded in 10 categories, including the “Best Overall” prize of $300 sponsored by KTEX/KWHI. The other categories include:
- Most Votes for $200, sponsored by Hermann Furniture.
- Judges Choice for $200, sponsored by Must Be Heaven.
- Best Fall Theme for $125, sponsored by Board & Brush.
- Most Creative for $125, sponsored by Scrubs N Stuff Boutique.
- Most Educational for $125, sponsored by The Book Nook.
- Silliest for $125, sponsored by Faubion Design.
- Cutest for $125, sponsored by The Canyon Chick.
- Two Honorable Mentions for $100 each, sponsored by Branded Boutique and Timeless Designs Market.
Completed ballots must be returned to the Brenham Washington County Visitor Center at 115 West Main Street. Winners will be announced on Tuesday October 26th. More information is available at www.downtownbrenham.com.
