THREE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Three people pled guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell.

Eduardo Michael Macejewski, 21 of Chappell Hill, was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  He was also ordered to pay a $1500 fine, perform 200 hours of community service, and serve 180 days in the Washington County Jail as a condition of probation.

Jeffrey Charles Surber, 43 of Navasota, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Burglary of Building.  He was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

Nigel Godfrey Clarke, 52 of Houston, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for possession of marijuana between 4 oz. and 5 pounds.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.

  1. Gee, put a loaded gun to someone’s head and be a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and just get probation.
