HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT WEDNESDAY BRINGS ARREST

  

A Brenham man was arrested Wednesday after a hit and run accident.

Brenham Police report that at 3:50 Wednesday afternoon, Officers responded to the 1400 block of South Day Street in reference to a subject who had struck a vehicle and failed to stop and leave their information.  The Suspect vehicle was followed by a witness to the 1000 block of South Austin Street where contact was made with the driver by Cpl. Ha.  After investigation, it was determined that Manuel Andrade, 53 of Brenham, was intoxicated and did strike the vehicles.  Andrade was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd case or more and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
