WINTER WEATHER DELAYS, CLOSURES
School districts and offices around the area remain closed due to the winter weather.
Brenham ISD will be closed Friday. All extracurricular activities are postponed, and no COVID-19 testing will be performed. The Boys Varsity Soccer game at Paetow Friday has been rescheduled for Saturday at 2:00 PM. The varsity is the only game to reschedule. The girls soccer game against Paetow has been rescheduled for Saturday at 5:00 PM at Cub Stadium. The region swim meet scheduled for Friday and Saturday, has been rescheduled for Monday at 10:30 AM and Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Both the boys and girls basketball games scheduled for Friday have been postponed.
Burton ISD will close Friday.
Due to inclement weather, Blinn College will be closed and all classes and activities scheduled for Friday, February 4th, are canceled. Campuses will resume normal activities on Saturday, February 5th.
First Baptist Church School and Early Education in Brenham will be closed Friday.
St. Paul's Christian Day School in Brenham will be closed Thursday. A determination on Friday's classes will be made late Thursday.
Grace Lutheran School in Brenham will be closed Friday.
The Toy Box Child Development Center in Brenham is closed Friday.
City of Brenham offices and facilities will have normal operating hours Friday.
All Washington County offices will remain open Friday.
Texas A&M University will open at 10 a.m. Friday, with buses starting at 9:15 a.m.
Giddings ISD has cancelled all classes Friday.
Round Top-Carmine ISD, La Grange ISD, Schulenberg ISD, and Fayetteville ISD will all be closed Friday.
Dime Box ISD will not hold classes Friday.
Bellville ISD campuses will remain closed Friday.
All classes in Sealy ISD are cancelled Friday.
Navasota ISD will be closed Friday.
Anderson-Shiro CISD will close on Friday.
Richards ISD will close on Friday.
Iola ISD will close on Friday.
Somerville ISD will have no school Friday.
Caldwell ISD will be closed Friday.
Snook ISD will close Friday.
Hempstead ISD is closed Friday.
All Waller ISD schools and offices are closed Friday.
The Margaret E. Blizzard Senior Center in Brenham will be closed Friday.
Brenham VFW Post 7104’s steak supper on Friday has been cancelled.
HealthPoint's clinic locations in Somerville, Caldwell, Navasota, Hempstead, Bryan and College Station will be closed Friday.
The Washington County Chamber ribbon cutting scheduled Thursday at 9:30 a.m. for Brenham Foundry and Floral Company at 101 West Alamo Street will be rescheduled to a later date.
The First Friday Farmer and Artisan Market in downtown Brenham has been cancelled.
The Brazos Valley Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry located at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham is cancelled Friday morning.
Due to inclement weather conditions, all Citizens State Bank locations will be closing at 3:00 pm today, Thursday, February 3, 2022. All bank locations will also have a delayed opening at 9:00 am Friday, February 4th.
Sealy Mattress Company will have a delayed start on Friday morning and employees from both shifts need to report to work at 9:00 am.
Brenham National Bank will close at 3 p.m. Thursday and will delay opening on Friday until 9 a.m. for all locations.
Bank of Brenham will delay opening on Friday until 10 a.m.
